A fundamental part of backlog grooming and agile software development that is often overlooked is decomposing large stories into smaller and manageable stories. Teams tend to overcommit because stories are simply too large to complete during the sprint. To enable the team to be successful it’s important to have effective user stories.

We’ll talk about the the benefits story decomposition, three different methods, and do an exercise to practice the methods we discussed.

Can't make it this month?

We meet approximately every month, either the second or third Wednesday of the month. So if you can't make it this month, hopefully we'll see you at the next meetup. Also, if you have an idea, game, workshop, or story to share with the group, then please contact the organizer to setup a presentation for a future meeting.
