From its origins in February 2011, through numerous iterations of design, writing, and editing, to its final publication in April 2015, the BABOK® Guide v3 has evolved into “the essential standard to help practitioners and their stakeholders deliver business value and create better business outcomes.”

As a member of the founding Body of Knowledge Committee for BABOK 3.0, Tom Burke was instrumental in redesigning and restructuring the entire content, as part of an international, 10-member group.  He further led the Solution Evaluation chapter’s team of writers, rewrote three techniques, and served in the “unglamorous” position as the deputy project manager – straddling the BA and PM roles. He has over 30 years of SDLC experience among several Fortune 50 corporations, and is certified as a CBAP and an Agile Product Owner.
